ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A large Georgia gun rights organization says the President's Executive Actions on guns would not have prevented any of the mass shootings he says inspired him.
GeorgiaCarry.Org leaders say they see no benefits from any of the President's tightening of background checks on gun sales.
"All the effect of these expanded background checks and things like that are going to have is going to have an effect on law abiding citizens, who we know are not the problem," said Chuck Turney a director of GeorgiaCarry.Org.
The group claims about 8,000 members.
Turney believes the President's Action will attract more members and push people to buy more guns and ammunition.
