AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - A South Georgia company is expanding and bringing jobs to Americus.
TCI Powder Coatings is opening administrative offices in the industrial park and expects to add 20 jobs by next month.
The company could make as many as 75 jobs in the next 3 years. City leaders are excited about the long-term investment by the company.
"They're good jobs. They're well paying jobs. They have benefits. They're a company who takes care of their employees, and that's what matters most to our community—to have a company that sees the value and benefit of their employees. That's certainly what TCI Powder Coatings does. They'll continue that trend right here in Americus as well," said Sumter County Chamber of Commerce President Barbara Grogan.
TCI is renovating the old Lockheed Martin building and plans to open in February.
