The EMA director County Commission Chairman and Sheriff surveyed the area from a State Patrol helicopter Sunday.
Today the river crested 32.53 feet,8 1/2 feet above flood stage.
Tomorrow they'll assess the area with Georgia Emergency Management.
"We need to remove some sandbags. We had sand bag the courthouse in trying to save a little of the air condition system. I'm not certain that, that help but we have some sand bags we need to remove," Sherry Bailey EMA Director said.
Baker County officials hope to start clean up by the middle of this week.
