CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Surveillance footage of Saturday night's armed robbery at the Cordele Supermarket has now been released.

In this footage, three men wearing black are seen running inside while customers were in the store. One of the men placed a gun to the back of an employee who was sweeping the parking lot. Two of the men blocked both doors of the store while the third stole the money from the clerk.

The owner tells us that he is certainly changing things around in order to keep people safe.

"We're going to try to finish up the parking lot earlier where it's like early outside. And we're going to try to be more secure inside," said daughter Kinjil Patel. "And like we're going to try to get everyone out as quick as possible instead of putting out people. We're just going to be more secure."

The owner says the thieves got away with thousands of dollars.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Cordele Police at 229-276-2921.
