THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

YMCA representatives are ready to help people get into shape with their Team Lean program.

The weight loss challenge kicks off January 9th for those who want to lose weight and earn money.

After the 10 week program, Archbold will donate $500 to a male and female winner with the lowest cholesterol.

The top 10 percent of the teams who participate will receive prize money as well.

"Team Lean is basically you come in once a week and weigh but we offer 3 boot camp classes a week for the team lean participants, a Zumba class and then a Zumba step class 2 days a week so we offer 6 classes a week for our team lean participants," said Fitness and Wellness Director Kim Smith.

Each team member needs to complete and sign an entry form by January 14th.

It costs $50 to register, and you don't have to be a member to sign up.
