Officials say Old GA Hwy 3 has been shut down due to flooding north of Baconton.
Radium Springs near the power plant & Mitchell Co. line is also closed.
The closure was confirmed by Mitchell County EMA Director Clark Harrell.
Officials noted that residents would be able to still access their homes from the road unless conditions worsened.
Emergency crews had been monitoring the nearby water as it crept slowly closer to the road.
