ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Flood water is flowing quickly from the Flint River on the north side of Skywater Blvd., to the south and onto the former Radium Country Club.
County officials are monitoring the roads keeping an eye on low lying areas like this.
"There may be some little isolated roads we have water on. We'll put barricades and notification signs out for those areas. But overall with projections that we are getting, we feel a lot better today than we did say Saturday," Larry Cook, Dougherty Co. Public Works Director.
County officials remind people not to drive through standing water because you can't be sure how deep it is or the condition of the road under it.
