Bike destroyed during Leesburg Christmas Parade

LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - A driver running over an autistic man's bicycle in Leesburg.

Dominic Cole works at Griffin Lumber and Hardware and employees there gave him the bike.

He parked it there during the city's Christmas Parade. That's when this white truck ran over it.

Police believe it was intentional and they want help finding the driver.

"I went down there talked to him one day and they sat down and showed me the video and it's just so obvious this individual deliberately ran over his bike," Lt.James Vick.

Griffin Lumber replaced the bike. Take a close look at this video again.

Police say this vehicle is a white Dodge 2500 with a Cummins Diesel Engine tag on the front.

If you recognize the truck or know who was driving... you're urged to call the Leesburg Police Department.
