ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Some south Georgia air travelers were re-routed on this Christmas Eve.
One passenger at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport in Albany was actually trying to fly to Valdosta.
He told us he experienced multiple delays and changes flying from Pennsylvania.
When his flight to Valdosta was canceled, he flew into Albany instead. He says he's just happy finally to be home with his family.
"The weather was so bad that they rerouted us to Columbia South Carolina for a couple of of hours. Then we finally made it to Atlanta but referred any of the ground troops from actually working on the planes," Joseph Cox said.
One scheduled flight into Valdosta today was canceled. The other arrived more than four hours late.
