ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Mission Change brought Christmas to the community on Thursday.
The organization held its annual Christmas Eve sweater brunch as their December monthly mission project.
Visitors enjoyed more than a meal, people received presents, sang songs and took Christmas pictures.
Volunteers said that they enjoyed doing work for a local charity that helps people in need here at home.
"Well I found it a really enjoyable experience. I feel like I had a small part in helping mission change this morning," said volunteer Reagan Johnson.
"We have a great turnout. We couldn't do any of this without our volunteers, the folks that sponsor us throughout the year. This is what they're able to help us do, so we're very fortunate to have the support that we have," said Executive Director for Mission Change Ladonna Urick.
This was the 7th year Mission Change hosted the Christmas brunch.
