Unemployment in Albany has taken a positive turn.
The Georgia Department of Labor reported that Metro Albany's unemployment rate for November dropped to 6.4% from 6.9% in October.
The rate is at its lowest point since June 2008.
It declined as employers created 300 jobs last month due largely to holiday hiring.
