ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One woman is recovering after a wreck Wednesday morning.
Albany Police said that 35-year-old Andee Usry was driving eastbound on the Liberty expressway just before the Jefferson exit when a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Tonya Ford slowed down and braked right in front of Usry.
Usry attempted to change lanes and lost control of her vehicle.
Usry's car struck Ford's SUV before going down a grassy embankment and hitting a tree.
Usry was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries and was cited for following too closely and driving too fast for conditions.
