ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Boys & Girls Club received a special Christmas gift Wednesday.

Zaxby's donated $1,000 to support their mission of taking care of young people.

Club leaders said that the restaurant is a long-time supporter and that they appreciate the donation.

"Zaxby's has always been a great community partner and a friend of the Boys & Girls Club. This is a great gift to show their support of us during the Christmas season. So we are looking forward to continuing that momentum and carrying it into 2016," said Marvin Laster with the Boys & Girls Club.

Wednesday was also the Boys & Girls Club's Christmas give-back day, and all of the children had a gift to take home with them.
