The Irwin County Sheriff's Office wants to get a rapist off the streets after a woman said he attacked her in a wooded area last week.
The victim said she stopped on Highway 32 near Osierfield Road to check her tires after a warning sensor appeared in her car.
Her tires were fine, but a man grabbed her from behind and knocked her unconscious.
Sheriff's deputies found her after getting a call about a woman who was lost in the woods.
Investigators advise you to call 911 if you need help on the road at night.
"Be mindful of your surroundings and if you don't feel safe getting out of your car, call 911 and somebody will come help you," said Lt. Stephen Rogers with the Irwin Co. Sheriff's Office.
Investigators are asking anyone with any information about this case to call the Irwin County Sheriff's Office.
