Bainbridge man killed in Florida wreck

(Midway, Florida - WALB)  Kyle Rufus Joshua Duke, 43 of Bainbridge, was killed in a collision on I -10 near Midway, Florida, when his 1998 GMC Sierra was struck by another car. It happened about 3:00 Monday morning, December 21.

Duke was traveling west on Interstate 10 (State Road 8) in the outside westbound lane, approaching exit 192 (US-90/State Road 10) in Midway, Florida.

Troopers say that Cal Perry Gardiner Crombie, 20, driving a 2005 Camry, pulled in front of him.

Troopers said that Duke "was unable to take any evasive actions to avoid a collision." His truck came to rest on its roof in the inside emergency lane facing east.

A 2013 Chevy Cruze, driven by 41 year old Daniel Mark Nutt, of Saint Cloud, Florida was also involved in the three-vehicle wreck.

All involved were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by Gadsden Co. Sheriff Department, Midway Police Department, Midway and Quincy Fire Department, and the Department of Transportation.
