CORDELE, GA (WALB) - A Cordele Subway manager is now speaking out after being robbed Saturday around 5:00 p.m.

Cordele police are trying to identify the man who walked inside and held up the restaurant on 16th Ave. Officials believe there may have been a second person outside driving a getaway car.

Keisha McCormick immediately called police and texted her mother after the robbery occurred.

"It scared me, it just really scared me you just don't want your daughter going through that stuff," said Brianca McCormick.

"And he was looking over the counter so he would have seen if I had pressed the emergency button," said Keisha McCormick. "So I said I am not going to try that, I am just going to do what he's going to tell me to do. Just so I can stay alive."

The suspect asked her to leave her cell phone and lock herself in the bathroom. He then searched for more money, which wasn't in the store, before leaving.

Police believe the suspects escaped in a 2000 to 2010 model Blue Chevy Colorado.
