Thomasville residents can continue to keep money in their pockets by not paying for property taxes in 2016.
Thomasville has not charged property tax for home owners since 2012 and city council members said they're happy the budget is approved so residents can continue to save money.
"No property taxes from citizens so again some citizens dont understand that its a great community to live in and we offer great services, great rates, and zero taxes," said Don Atkinson, City Manager.
City council members say they're happy to have a city that can function without receiving property tax money from homeowners.
