Friday, they presented a $2000 check to the organization.
Georgia Power raised the money through candy and bake sales throughout the year and made a donation to the charity of their choice.
Boys & Girls Clubs Officials say the money will fund programs, activities, and services.

"We hope that this money will actually help them achieve their goals for the year,” said Lisa Battle-Jackson, Georgia Power Customer Service Supervisor and President of the Citizens of Georgia Power.

"This donation will go a long ways in ensuring that we're able to continue to provide services to those young people in our community who need it the most and ensuring that great futures really do start here,” said Marvin Laster, Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany Asst. Chief Professional Officer.

Georgia Power also donated $2000 to the Liberty House and Open Arms. They also donated $500 to the Second Harvest Food Bank of South Georgia.
