Murder charge for woman who dumped hot oil on boyfriend, stabbed him to death

DAWSON, GA (WALB) -

A woman has been indicted on murder charges, accused of throwing hot oil on her boyfriend and stabbing him to death.

Latisha Weaver was indicted by the Terrell County Grand jury on malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and other charges.

34-year-old Wesley Williams died of knife wounds on August 20th.

Authorities believe Weaver stabbed him multiple times at a home on Lemon Street, in the presence of two children.

According to the indictment, Weaver also threw hot cooking oil on Williams, and he suffered severe burns as a result.
