Community leaders show their support for Albany Police by treating the officers to lunch.
Several business owners and community supporters paid for the meal of fried chicken and pizza for the entire Albany Police Department.
Organizers say they wanted the police officers to receive a blessing this Christmas.
"We them to know there is a lot of people in the community, and there is, that support them. So them knowing that gives them much more confidence to be who they need to be," said Livingston Fulton, Organizer.
Organizers of the Albany police luncheon say they're now preparing to treat Lee County law enforcement with an appreciation lunch.
