ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man has been indicted for murdering a man in September in a central Albany alley.
The grand jury indicted Calvin Brown, Junior for felony murder aggravated assault and tampering with evidence in the death of Kenneth Washington. His body was found in an alley on West Roosevelt Avenue on September 25th.
Prosecutors say he was been shot in the head while he sat in a car. "There was an effort to remove blood and other indications of crimes from this vehicle. And that's part of the charges," said Greg Edwards, Dougherty D. A.
Prosecutors would not give information about the motive for Washington's death. Brown would face life in prison if convicted.'
