ROCHESTER, MN (WALB) - The aftermath of a bank robbery was caught in front of live TV cameras Tuesday in Minnesota.
KIMT Reporter Adam Sallet was outside of a Sterling State Bank branch beginning a live report about a string of robberies.
But just as he began his report, a bank employee runs up and interrupts, telling Sallet that a robbery had just happened.
Keeping his cool, Sallet relayed the information of what had just been reported to him, announced he was leaving, and then ran off camera.
"This is live TV, folks!" he said. "That's the robber [who] just went by, according to the bank employee. So, I got to go here and call 911. I'll talk to you later."
Sallet later tweeted that the bank robbery suspect had been taken into custody and everyone inside the bank was okay.
