ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Workers with UPS are headed into their busiest week of the year in the U.S.
UPS said it expects to deliver more than 630 million packages between Black Friday an New Year's Eve for 2015.
Workers said Georgia residents who are sending packages to the west coast should send it as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery because of bad weather.
"We can never predict the weather and there are, Colorado and some of the other places, are having weather conditions. And acts of God don't count as on-time delivery if they can't get out and deliver it," said Albany store owner Donnie Lovvorn.
The company's scheduled peak delivery day is Dec. 22, where they plan to deliver about 36 million packages, which is double the typical daily volume.
