A great deal of concern has evaporated in Athens, as Jacob Eason, the high school quarter back seen as the savior of offensive football for the Georgia Bulldogs announced that he will enroll at UGA in January, according to multiple sources who follow recruiting closely.
The 6' 5" star from Lake Stevens High School in Washington had gone to a recruiting visit to Florida after Mark Richt parted ways with Georgia.
But he and his family took a trip to Athens last weekend, and that he said convinced him that Athens was the place for him.
Widely seen as a tall, strong-armed passer in the mold of the Patriots' Tom Brady, who has won multiple Super Bowls, Eason won the Gatorade National Football Player of the Year recently.
