ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A disturbing scam alert from an Albany woman.

Julie Miller got several phone calls from Kingston, Jamaica from someone claiming to be with Publisher's Clearing House.
They told her they teamed up with Walmart and that she won $350,000.
They wanted her to meet them at the Walmart on Ledo Road with a money order for $200 to claim her prize.

"So I actually yelled to my son in the other room, he's 14,” said Julie Miller, Scam Target. “I said have you been on the computer, have you bought anything from Publisher's Clearing House. Did you sign up as a contestant for any kind of a prize. No mom, I don't even know what that is."

Miller says the callers were very pushy and even wanted her home address claiming they wanted to go there to present her with a big check.
