DECATUR CO., GA (WALB) - Decatur County Officials teamed up with Gadsden County Deputies to catch four suspects on the run from officials in Florida.
Four suspects led Florida authorities on a high speed chase after one of them was accused of trying to kidnap a person from a home at gunpoint. The car was heading toward Bainbridge. Decatur County deputies laid down spike strips.
"We set up the spike strips, they hit the spike strips, but kept going and entered into the city of Bainbridge. Bainbridge Public Safety then assisted. They got involved once it hit their city limits and the pursuit terminated in West Bainbridge," said Chief Deputy Wendell Cofer.
Officials say Micheal Edwards and Courtney Mcgraw were booked into the Decatur County Jail. They could be transferred to the jail in Quincy, Florida tonight. Another man and a woman in the car were released.
