DECATUR CO., GA (WALB) - Some residents in Decatur County complain they're not getting the internet service they're paying for. Decatur County Commissioners met to talk about the problems today.
Commissioners say Turner Broadband is a local company that uses the county's facility and equipment. Some customers say the service isn't reliable, but county leaders say they don't plan to cut ties with the company.
"We believe Mr. Turner is doing the best he can out of the circumstances he has promised upgrades as we already discussed and to try to improve the system," said Alan Thomas, Decatur County Commissioner.
Administrators say Turner will discuss the first phase of operation upgrades in February. Commissioners aren't sure if those upgrades will be an additional cost.
