AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - One man is in jail and another on the loose after police said they robbed a friend over the weekend. Travon Jones is accused of taking $100 from Samuel Thomas at gunpoint.
Police say Rahshaan Brack II also participated in the robbery, and they have warrants for his arrest. The robbery happened at an apartment at 137 Cherokee Street early Friday morning.
Police said it's still concerning despite the relationship among the three involved.
"Even though the victim and the offender knew each other, it's very concerning because any time you display a weapon, there's an opportunity, the possibility, there for an even greater crime to be committed with the use of a weapon," said Interim Police Chief Herman Lamar.
You're asked to call the Americus police if you know where Brack is.
