TERRELL CO., GA (WALB) - Some young puppies found only a few short days ago now have a new home. They were found under an abandon home in Terrell County.
The puppies had to live in a foster home because they couldn't stay in the animal shelter.
Volunteers said they were able to quickly find a new home for the puppies.
"It doesn't usually happen this fast," said rescue coordinator Kate Handwerk. "It really doesn't we were very lucky that we were able...a rescue that's helped us before had open foster homes. And a private pilot call them and said hey I am going for a ride can I help you help you pick up any dogs."
Sunday morning, the puppies were shipped off on a private plane to their new home in Florida.
