ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

The Colquitt County Packers won their 30th consecutive game en route to their second straight GHSA AAAAAA football state championship.

The Packers defeated Roswell 30-13 in the Georgia Dome Saturday night, and played with a comfortable lead for most of the second half.

Rush Propst and his Packers will now await the national polls to see if they will also add a national championship to their list of 2015 accolades.

Valdosta (1992) is the last Georgia team to win the national championship.

Also worth noting, Luis "BabyLou" Martinez broke the state record for field goals in a career with under 2 minutes to go.
