MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - A Moultrie family opens up their home to the public for a Christmas light display.
Hannah and Craig Kirkland opened up their home to the community and invited kids to meet Santa Claus.
The Kirklands started the tradition 5 years ago and say it gets bigger every year.
"We had two people that came by, their family came by and they said that they were on their way to the square to see the lights on the square and they made a wrong turn and passed by here," said Craig Kirkland, Organizer. "They said this is prettier than the square. I don't know if it's prettier than the square that would be a matter of opinion there."
The Kirklands don't charge admission but do accept toys and canned food items they'll donate to the Colquitt Food Bank.
They'll do it again Friday at 6 p.m. at their home on 3rd Street Southeast.
They initially planned for Saturday, but changed the date because that's when the Colquitt County Packers are playing in the state championship game.
