MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Folks in Moultrie are preparing for Thursday's Festival of Lights Christmas Parade.
Nearly 100 participants signed up for the Very Merry Musical Christmas-themed parade.
City officials, churches, businesses, and schools are all decorating floats to bring in the Christmas spirit.
The entire parade will happen underneath the city's canopy of lights and each float is required to light up.
"We encourage everyone to come out, see the parade, see the Festival of Lights parade," said Main Street Director Amy Johnson. "It's like no other. If you haven't seen the canopy of lights, this is a fabulous time to come out, see those lights, and see a great parade while you're here!"
The parade starts at 6 p.m. Thursday.
They're expecting close to 10,000 people there.
