Police: Car in high-speed chase was stolen

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The car that was used in a high speed chase Friday night in Albany was apparently stolen, police say.

Georgia State Patrol and Albany Police are continuing the investigation in the chase where two people were later sent to jail.

Troopers said on Friday night, the driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer ran from them, and had to be stopped with a pit maneuver, where it crashed into a light pole and damaged a house.

Dykese Wilcox was arrested.

On Saturday morning, the owner of the car, Lisa Tinsley, reported the car stolen to Albany Police.
