CORDELE, GA (WALB) - The Crisp County Sheriff says his first robbery awareness class was so successful, he's hosting another one.
Representatives from about 35 businesses showed up at the first meeting in November to learn to learn what to look for and how to act during a robbery.
The next class begins at 6 p.m. at the Crisp County Sheriff's Office.
"We felt like there was still a need to reach some other businesses that couldn't come that night, some other staff members of the stores, and we've gotten a good response," said Sheriff Billy Hancock. "We've got over a dozen businesses signed up already to be here [Tuesday] night."
He said he expects more businesses to sign up on the day of the meeting as well.
