CRISP CO., GA (WALB) - The Georgia Recreation and Parks Association hosted their State Championships in Crisp County during the weekend.
Some young football players were hoping to be champions after the tournament.
Around 20 teams were in attendance, which means a lot of people were out in Crisp Co.
"Really important because of the economic impact and just the home town pride," said Eric Bozeman. "Playing in front of your home crowd the people we bring to Crisp Co. from the surrounding areas it's just big on our economic impact."
Next weekend, teams from both South and North Georgia will be competing.
