ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Major changes are coming to the Albany-Dougherty NAACP.
State president Francys Johnson is increasing standards for members and will replace the current officers.
"So now according to the state president he wants another group in to be reconstructed," said Tammy Green, District Coordinator for the State NAACP. "Also to be to his satisfaction, not the communities, but his."
The new leaders will take over in January.
