"Cheerio" opened up for Cho with a few jokes of his own
Proceeds from the event supported the non-profit
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Star comedian Henry Cho had folks rolling with laughter at Albany's State Theater as he headlined a comedy night to benefit Mission Change, particularly its child care center called the village.
One of the 'Village' children even took the stage to open up for Cho.
Mission change created a bond with Cho a year ago.
"His kids come on our serve trips," said the executive director of Mission Change, Ladonna Urick. "The mission trips during the summer throughout the year, and he came to pick his kids up last year and said what can I do to help you guys. And so we're just excited that he's here and that he supports us and supports our mission and our vision and we look forward to many more comedy nights with him."
This was Mission Change's first comedy night. It attracted around 300 people.
