ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Business leaders helped Albany State University seniors prepare for the working world.

ASU hosted a speed networking event where alumni and professionals met with students.

They gave students critiques on everything from their elevator speech to the firmness of their handshakes.

It's part of a new effort called Training Many for Success as the Career Services Office tries to give ASU students a good sendoff.
"You should be pretty confident," said ASU career services rep, Tracy Williams. "You should be able to communicate your skills and abilities. Introduce yourself in a very professional manner, and be comfortable in your presentation of the most important brand...The brand of you."

Fall Graduation for Albany state is next Saturday.
