ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Recreation and Parks Department wants you to grant Christmas wishes for abused children.
You can come buy the office and pick up a letter to Santa written by a child served by Open Arms.
Each letter includes gifts the child wants as well as clothing sizes.
"Material things can't take away the hurt that these children are going through, but at least it lets them know that people do care about them," said Kristin Caso, Albany Recreation and Parks Department. "That they are not forgotten and it's a really great program."
The deadline to return items is December 11th.
The Rec Department office in Tift Park is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5.
