ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

South Georgia radio stations didn't let Wednesday's rain keep them from collecting toys for children in need.

Cumulus Radio held their annual 'Stuff the Truck' event for Toys for Tots.

Since Monday, they have filled one truck with donated toys outside Toys 'R' Us near the Albany Mall.

"There's so many kids in Southwest Georgia who are going to wake up Christmas Day and they aren't going to have something under the tree. So, this is just a good way for somebody to spend $10 or $15 and give a kid a Merry Christmas," said Cumulus Radio Promotions Director Marie Erickson.

Stuff the Truck wrapped up Wednesday night, but the Marine and Salvation Army's "Toys for Tots" campaign continues, and for all the details on how to make a donation check out the Toys for Tots website.
