Man beaten, robbed in home invasion

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Police say a man was beaten and robbed at gunpoint in front of his house after two men tried to get in touch with a relative.

It happened Monday at an apartment complex.

The two men went to the victim's home and asked to speak to his cousin.

When he turned around to text his cousin, one of them pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

Police said the victim was hit several times in the face and was later treated by EMS.

Officials say they are looking for two black males Hasani Kimmons and Malik Ponder.

They got away with $300.
