TERRELL CO., GA (WALB) - A couple continues cleanup after their home was knocked down by a strong storm in July. Strong winds leveled this home at 868 Maerick Road.
The residents sought cover in a back room and have been slowly cleaning up since then. Larry Odom said shelter, storage, and cash remain his main needs, but he also thanked everyone who has helped in any way.
"We thank them very much very sincerely. Any kind of contribution has made a great difference because on July 22nd when it happened, essentially destroyed everything," said Larry Odom.
Odom hopes to clear what's left standing of the home by next week.
