ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State hosted it's annual ASU Thanksgiving Holiday Classic, but came away win-less.
Sunday night, the Golden Rams fell to Columbus State 74-56. Dominique Pollard was the high scorer for ASU with 17 points, but the Rams failure to shoot against the zone was costly in the loss.
Head coach Michael Moore said fans nor the squad should sweat the 3-game losing streak.
""We are young, and experience is going to take over now," said Moore. "It's not going to be the coaching now, it's going to be these types of games. And this is the type of talent to let these young guys know the level that we are trying to get at. And I'm very pleased with the progress we are making. Like I tell everybody relax, stay calm. We (are) going to be alright."
ASU returns to play thursday in Memphis against LeMoyne-Owen College.
