ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A fraternity is ringing bells to raise money for people in need during the holiday season.
The Alumni chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated stood outside the Albany Mall Friday ringing bells to raise money for the Salvation Army.
They say their goal is to surpass the $1500 they raised last year.
"Well our motivation is community service so whether we make the news or not we always doing some form of community service," said Ricky Jackson, Mentoring Program Chairperson. "This is just one that's been consistent for the pass approximately 20 years or so."
The fraternity has been supporting the Salvation Army since 1996.
