Suspects arrested in connection to Tift Ave. armed robbery

Two men were arrested in connection to an armed robbery. Two men were arrested in connection to an armed robbery.
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Two men were arrested in connection to an armed robbery at 3:30 a.m. on Friday.

Ted Daniels, 59, reported that while in the 200 block of West Tift Avenue, he observed a tan two-tone van ride by and circle around. 

An unknown person got out of the van and approached him with a pistol, demanding money.  

Daniels advised that he did not have any money, then the suspect took his backpack and retreated. Daniels called 911 and gave the description of the van and the direction of travel.

21-year-old Carl Randle Jr. and 38-year-old Rajan Childs were arrested after they were located in a suspected vehicle parked at Phoebe Putney Hospital shortly after the incident.
