ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Members of the Saints of God House of Worship fed more than 200 folks at the Salvation Army on Thanksgiving Day.
Church leaders say they opened the doors for anyone that needed food.
They've been doing this for seven years at the Salvation Army. Church members say they see the need in the community, and that's why they do it.
"Well this is God's purpose for the church to do things like and not look for anything in return. We not doing it for gratitude. We're doing it because we see the need in our city," said Pastor Arthur Lee Wright
Pastor Wright says they hope to do it again next year as well.
