ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A lot of retailers were busy Wednesday night making final preparations for Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales.
J.C. Penney at the Albany Mall closed at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night, but workers continued to set up displays for Thursday.
They hired 40 temporary associates for the holidays.
The General Manager says they have plenty incentives to get people into the store.
"We're probably going to be one of the first retailers that open at 3 o'clock on Thanksgiving Day and we'll be giving out coupons to the customers coming in," said Michael Bruner, General Manager. "We'll have 25 off of $25 coupons, we'll have several 100 off of 100 and one 500 off of $500 coupon."
J.C. Penney at the Albany Mall will open at 3:00 p.m. Thursday and will be open continuously until Friday at 10:00 p.m.
