Police search for burglary suspects caught on video

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police are asking your help finding two men who burglarized a downtown Albany detail shop, and stole a truck. But they were caught on surveillance video.

Take a look as two men with hoodies over their heads broke into the Second Chance Detail in the 600 block of West Oglethorpe on November 12th.

The suspects broke the front glass door, stealing the office computer, refrigerator, and microwave.

They took the keys to a U-Haul truck and stole it.

The surveillance video got some clear shots of the crook's faces. The shop owner says he has been broken into twice in recent weeks, and hopes to stop these costly crimes.

"I hope they do get caught," said Owner Terry Lewis. "And I will prosecute them too, to the full extent of the law. So I hope they do get caught."

Police found the abandoned U-Haul the next day on South McKinley.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeSTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
