ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center want children to explore the wonders of the fall season from a scientist's and a historian's perspective Monday and Tuesday from 8AM until 5PM.
Children, ages 6-11, will go on Awesome Autumn Adventures as they investigate the behavior of plant and animal creatures preparing for winter. Organizers say kids can discover the history of one of our nation's biggest holidays and reenact some of the preserving principles that led to our nation today.
A typical camp session includes crafts, games, exhibit tours, animal encounters, planetarium shows, movies in the Imagination Theater, snacks, and full entrance to the Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center each day.
Full payment for each camp session is due with registration. Here are the costs per day: Members $25 Non-Members $30
Campers should bring a sack lunch (Snacks Provided). Register by calling 229-639-2650 or 229-432-6955.
