BACONTON, GA (WALB) - The Baconton community had a day filled with music, fun, and pecans on Saturday at the 40th Annual Pecan Festival.
Over 500 people came out for the year's festival at the world's pecan capital.
There were many things for people to do like dancing, eating, and just having a good time.
"I mean I see all my friends I haven't seen in a while. I meet up with them. The music you just dance have fun meet new people," said Lisa Herringshaw.
Now here's a fun fact. Organizers said it actually rained during the first Pecan Festival. This time around, the weather was perfect.
